Gulf Coast Food and Fuel Expo to Attract Oil Marketers, Environmental Consultants

Gulf Coast Food and Fuel ExpoThis month PPM Consultants will join 200 other exhibitors for the fifth annual Gulf Coast Food & Fuel Expo in Biloxi, Mississippi.

As a full-service company for oil marketers in remediation and compliance, PPM values the expo because it provides quality one-on-one time with clients in an arena that’s convenient for the client. PPM specializes in environmental consulting and is proud to serve many of the biggest names in oil marketing in the Gulf South. With 65% of the company’s 2015 portfolio coming from the UST sector, PPM is the expert oil marketers should call for environmental regulation and compliance questions.

Hal Leggett, Director of Regulatory Affairs at PPM, states that PPM’S first goal at the expo is to highlight client success. “We want to show our clients’ accomplishments in the best light.” He continues explaining why so many clients value their individual relationships with PPM. “It’s the PPM way. It’s not propaganda; it’s the quality people we put in front of our clients.”

The tradeshow will showcase big names. Leggett adds, “It’s the Who’s Who of the industry…it shows significant investment by the businesses… Chevron, Exxon, Citgo, Mobil and Valero are just a few.”

Lynne Coker, Exposition Manager, says she expects more than 6oo attendees to flock to the variety of vendors relevant to oil marketers. She says, “It’s a great way to showcase products and services in one venue…people appreciate the one-on-one, hands-on networking.” Leggett agrees, “It’s the best way to maximize marketing benefits…and to see and meet decision makers.”

The expo combines the traditional association tradeshows of the Petroleum & Convenience Marketers of Alabama, the Louisiana Oil Marketers and Convenience Store Associations and the Mississippi Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores Association. The three states provide a more robust industry event by partnering, and just five years in, the synergy is evident.

Coker expresses excitement over PPM’s attendance and annual platinum sponsorship, however, she cannot deny the fact everyone’s favorite exhibitors are still the food vendors.

The Gulf Coast Food and Fuel Expo will be held March 9-10 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center. The expo will feature a large trade show, along with educational workshops, networking opportunities and a pre-event golf tournament on March 8. Accommodations are available at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino
